Santa Barbara County Animal Services and our community partners — including the Santa Barbara Humane Society, ASAP, and Equine Evac — have provided emergency care for more than 300 animals displaced by the Jesusita Fire as of May 6, 2009. It has been a collaborative effort to provide safe care for pets during this traumatic time. Many pet owners have expressed appreciation knowing their animals are safe and secure.

  1. I’m a volunteer with Homeless Animal Rescue Team. We have MANY cat carriers. I believe I could bring a van load if they would be of use.
