We launched this site today to provide information about the current fire in Santa Barbara. We are beginning to assemble the information here. If you have any suggestions, feel free to contact us.

Update: Came across this post by Doc Searls asking “Uncomplicate your damn websites. Without exception, legacy media have websites that are far too complicated and jam-packed with visual noise, including promotions of junk that is highly uninteresting to visitors looking for hard facts about their homes and neighborhoods.” I agree. And that is the point of this site- a not-for-profit site with no ads, no links to nonrelevant news, and a simple design.
